Motor Vehicle Crime
December 1, 2024 (South Park Street): The complainant reported that she left her 2023 Audi Q5 parked on South Park Street with the engine running and keys inside. When she returned from Starbucks a few moments later, she observed a male in a mask driving away with her car. It was recovered the next day in Newark.

December 2, 2024 (Stonebridge Road): The victims reported that they were working on a Stonebridge Road property when they heard a vehicle speeding away from their work van. Believing their van was entered, they checked and discovered two bags that were on the front seat were missing. The bags contained clothing items and numerous credit cards.

Burglary
December 2, 2024 (Upper Mountain Avenue): The victim reported that his residence was entered over the holiday weekend. Entry into the home appears to have been gained through a second floor bathroom window. Approximately $400.00 from a second-floor office was stolen.

Theft
December 2, 2024 (Mulford Lane): The resident reported that a FedEx package containing an iPad was delivered to his home at 11:45 AM. Approximately one hour later a black male, in his late teens/early twenties, wearing gray sweatpants/gray hooded sweat shirt, black bubble jacket, red or orange cell phone, black/white low top Nike sneakers is seen taking the package and fleeing. A bag of dog food was left in place of the iPad.

December 2, 2024 (Harvard Street): The resident reported that a FedEx package was left at her front door at approximately 11:00 AM. When she went to retrieve the package at 2:00 PM it was gone. The package contained an Apple iPhone.

Arrest
November 26, 2024 (Trinity Place): A 45-year-old male from East Orange was charged with Terroristic Threats and Weapons Possession following an altercation on Trinity Place.
