On December 17, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Quiroz responded to Abercrombie & Fitch in the Short Hills Mall on a report of a theft that just occurred. The Store associate reported that Solomon Davis, age 59, from Newark concealed a total of $170.00 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

On December 19, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to Macy’s in the Short Hills Mall on a report of a theft that just occurred. Macy’s associates reported that Adrian Angus, age 42 from Newark concealed a total of $320.00 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying. He was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

On December 19, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Sweeney responded to Sunglass Hut in the Short Hills Mall on a report of a theft that just occurred. The store associate reported that Miguelina Cruz, age 69 and Stephanie Torres age 24, both from Elizabeth, concealed a combined total of $1091.00 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspects were placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting and conspiracy.

On December 21, 2024, Millburn Police responded to a Spring St residence on a report of a burglary to the residence that occurred sometime over the past few days. The investigation revealed that the unknown actors entered the unoccupied residence through an unlocked window. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On December 21, 2024, Milburn Police Officer Hunt-Miles responded to Macy’s on a report of lewd acts. The caller reported that there was an adult male inappropriately touching himself through his clothing. The suspect David Garry, age 29, from Union NJ was located by Millburn police Officer Tucker. He was then charged with Lewdness.

On December 22, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Goldfarb responded to Neiman Marcus in the Short Hills Mall on a report of a theft that just occurred. Neiman Marcus associate reported that Maria BonillaMojica, age 34 from Staten Island NY selected a total of $1095.00 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying. She was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

On December 27, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Genitempo responded to Macy’s in the Short Hills Mall on a report of a theft that just occurred. Macy’s associate reported that Myke Castillo-Martinez, age 24 from Irvington concealed a total of $544.00 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying. She was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

On December 27, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Neequaye responded to Neiman Marcus in the Short Hills Mall on a report of a theft that just occurred. Neiman Marcus associate reported that Kaiqiang Xue, age 33 from California concealed a total of $370.00 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying. Search incident to arrest revealed 2 fraudulent ID, and multiple stolen gift cards. Further investigation revealed that he purchased a jacket with a stolen gift card. He was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting, theft by deception, and Forgery.

On December 28, 2024, Millburn Police Captain DelRusso located a stolen vehicle traveling on Ring rd. at The Mall at Short Hills. The vehicle was a stolen 2017 Kia Forte stolen out of Union City. Millburn Police Officers were able to stop the vehicle and arrested the driver and passenger without incident. The driver, Wondell Carswell, age 18, and the passenger Angel Arroyo, age 18, both from Jersey City were placed under arrest and charged with receiving a stolen vehicle.

On December 28, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Tucker responded to Macy’s in the Short Hills Mall on a report of a theft that just occurred. The store associate reported that Jordi Morran-Hernandez, age 27, and Michelle Olmeoloviteri, age 31, both from Orange, concealed a combined total of $45.00 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspects were placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

On December 29, 2024, Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to First Baptist church on a report of an individual that was yelling and refusing to leave. After further investigation, it was learned that the subject had previously trespassed at this church. Alexander Arjoonsingh, age 37, from Hillside was placed under arrest and charged with Defiant Trespassing.

On January 1, 2025, Millburn Police Officer Quiroz responded to Mejuri in the Short Hills Mall on a report of a theft that just occurred. The store associate reported that Yogini Varma, age 55 from Randolph concealed a total of $2300.00 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying. She was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.


These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
