Hello. This is Mayor Mark Zinna with a Friday news update.
In honor of the memory and life of our 39th President Jimmy Carter, Thursday, January 9 has been declared a National Day of Mourning for the former President. Most Federal offices will be closed that day.
The DPW would like to remind you that the East side paper recycling from Wednesday, January 1 is being picked up tomorrow, Saturday, January 4.
We are excited to announce that the Tenafly Municipal Pool is accepting early bird discount registrations for the summer of 2025 now on Community Pass. Register by February 28 to secure your spot at the pool and receive your discount. http://register.communitypass.net/tenafly
This Saturday at the Nature Center adults and families can sign up to meet a live animal and explore their creative and crafty side in Crafty Critters. Starting this Monday is the Nature Center's winter afternoon Forest School and morning Family Forest School sessions for children 1.5 to 7 years of age. The Nature Center's Summer Camp registration is now open for students aged 4 and up. Week-long camp sessions are offered between June 23 and August 29.
