Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In- Charge Patrick Murray announce that at approximately 11:46 p.m. on December 25, 2024, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to meet a 41-year-old male victim from Paterson, N.J., who was suffering from a nonfatal gunshot wound. The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. Police were informed the shooting took place in the area of 12th Avenue and Carroll Street.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
