Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Patrick Murray announce that at approximately 7:54 p.m. on January 3, 2025, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Main Street and Broadway on a report of a shooting. Police were informed that a 46-year-old male from Paterson, New Jersey, had arrived, via private vehicle, to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound. A potential crime scene was located in the area.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
