Secaucus Police Blotter: January 20, 2025 to January 26, 2025

On 01/22/2025 at 10:00 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 34-year-old female, Gessica Terrones of Jersey City, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $1,250.00. Ms. Terrones was also charged with Exhibiting a Fraudulent Insurance Card [2C:21-2.3B]. Ms. Terrones was issued her complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses. Ms. Terrones was unable to post bail for the outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ and was subsequently transported to the Jersey City Police Department.

On 01/22/2025 at 1:57 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30-year-old male, Jonathan Chicaiza-Herrera of Newark, NJ along with a 60-year-old female, Lucia Vaca-Gomez of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(2)]. Both M. Chicaiza-Herrera and Ms. Vaca-Gomez were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On 01/22/2025 at 7:30 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 43-year-old male, Derek Dipasquale of West New York, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Possession of False Government Documents [2C:21-2.1D] and Credit Card Theft [2C:21-6C(1)]. Mr. Dipasquale was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 01/23/2025 at 11:17 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Livingston Police Department to take into custody a 24-year-old male, Jonathan Poveda-Vite of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Poveda-Vite was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 01/24/2025 at 4:09 AM, Secaucus Police responded to 901 Castle Road on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 55-year-old male, Scott Hunt of Campbell Hall, NY for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Hunt was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 01/24/2025 at 12:40 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old male, Nathanael Sanchez of West New York, NJ for Tampering with Public Records [2C:28-7A(3)] for possessing on his motor vehicle an electric license plate cover that concealed the license plate from public view. Mr. Sanchez was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
