Secaucus recently filed a lawsuit against Jersey City challenging their County Tax Ratio. We are pleased to report our efforts were successful and will result in a reduction of approximately $1.5 million from the overall amount that the Town has to pay in taxes to the County for 2025. “This is a tremendous tax savings to our residents and business community. We are very happy with the outcome of this tax litigation, and this is just another example of how my administration continuously works for the benefit of our community”, stated Mayor Gonnelli.
