On January 18, 2025 Millburn Police responded to a Wyoming Village apartment on a report of a burglary that just occurred. The resident reported that an unknown male wearing a surgical mask entered her apartment through an unlocked window. When the suspect was encountered, he fled through the apartment front door. Millburn detective Wichelns investigated the incident and identified the suspect as, Jerry Johnson, age 70, of Maplewood NJ. A warrant for his arrest was issued.

On January 21, 2025, Millburn Police Officer Tucker stopped a Nissan Altima on rt 124 west for motor vehicle violations. The investigation led to the arrest of Manuel Palaguachi, age 43, of Orange, for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He was charged with, careless driving, unlicensed driving and DWI.

On January 23, 2025, Millburn Police Officer Seebohm stopped a silver Toyota Corolla at the Mall at Short Hills for suspicious activity. The passenger of the vehicle Immediately fled the vehicle and ran towards JFK Parkway. Millburn Officers were able to locate the suspect and placed him under arrest. Tyran Palmer age 24, of East Orange was charged with Obstruction.

On February 2, 2025, Millburn Officer Nacim responded to the Short Hills mall on a report of a male exposing himself and urinating in a public area. The suspect ran from mall security and exited the mall and fled in his vehicle. Millburn Police Captain DelRusso stopped the suspect vehicle. While the suspect was stopped, he exited the vehicle and started to urinate in an empty water bottle. Herode Amisial, age 40, of Linden NJ was arrested and charged with Lewdness.

On February 3, 2025, Millburn Police Officer Aliotta responded to a three-car crash on Hobart Ave. The investigation led to the arrest of one of the drivers Terrence Regan, age 32, of Matawan for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He was charged with reckless driving, open alcohol in a vehicle, operating a vehicle without insurance and DWI and later released to an acquaintance.

On February 4, 2025, during early morning hours, Millburn Police responded to a Stewart Rd residence on an activated burglary alarm. The investigation revealed that the suspects attempted to force entry into the residence through a window, which activated the alarm. The suspects never gained entry to the residence, and fled the scene. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.


These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
