6/7/2023 8:20 AM, (Fire)
A caller reported a section of mulch was on fire near William Street. Responding firefighters doused the area with water and rendered the area safe.

6/9/2023 2:28 PM, (Narcotics Arrest)
A motor vehicle stop of a suspended driver was conducted on Route 17. The vehicle was impounded and the driver, a 32-year-old male from Bayonne, was offered a courtesy transport. The driver accepted the transport; however, he was advised that a search would be conducted prior to entering the police vehicle. The male again agreed, and officers located illegal psilocybin mushrooms. This CDS possession triggered an arrest and charge for possession of CDS.

6/11/2023 1:52 PM, (Breach of Peace)
A caller from Patton Court reported a dispute among household members. Arriving patrol units found the disagreement to be verbal, with spouses agreeing to separate for the day. All restraining order requests were refused.

6/11/2023 5:18 PM, (Narcotics Arrest)
A patrolman stopped a female party for "jaywalking" on Passaic Street. The female a 30-year-old from Paterson, was found to be in possession of (11) baggies of heroin. The female was arrested and committed to the Bergen County Jail on the strength of an out-of-county arrest warrant.

6/12/2023 10:47 AM, (Breach of Peace)
A transit bus driver reported a dispute with a passenger. The passenger, a 19- year-old male from Rochelle Park, did not possess a bus pass or ticket. He was unable to pay for the same and escorted off the vehicle.

6/12/2023 2:48 PM, (Shoplifting)
A West Passaic Street supermarket reported a shoplifter in custody. The actor, a 31-year-old female from Rochelle Park, was found in possession of $73.52 worth of merchandise. Loss prevention decided to pursue theft charges in the municipal court.

6/13/2023 7:04 AM, (Criminal Mischief)
A resident of an area hotel reported his two front tires and a side mirror were damaged. A note was left behind which read, "You can't run forever." The victim believes he knows who the actor is and the reason for the damage. Detectives were assigned.

6/13/2023 9:21 AM, (Armed Robbery - Arrest)
A caller just reported he was robbed at gunpoint at a local hotel. The caller was the same victim reporting an earlier criminal mischief to his vehicle. Responding units located the actor, a stolen cell phone, and a pepper ball handgun. The actor, a 33-year-old male from Plainfield, was arrested and charged with armed robbery. Upset over unpaid debts from a friend, the robber decided to take matters into his own hands, he ended up in the Bergen County Jail instead.

6/14/2023 10:46 AM, (Vandalism)
Vulgar writing was found under the rock wall at Carlock Field. Officers are reviewing surveillance cameras from the park and the DPW covered the graffiti.

6/14/2023 3:25 PM, (Arrest - Adult)
An officer assigned to court security reported a disturbance in the hallway. Three parties in court to settle a prior dispute, engaged in a dispute while waiting to see the Judge. The victim from the existing case became an aggressor and was arrested for disorderly conduct. The 28-year-old female from Maywood was arrested and released, new court dates for both incidents were set.

6/14/2023 3:03 PM, (Suspicious Occurrence)
An employee of a West Passaic Street supermarket reported a strange exchange with a customer in the parking lot. The suspicious person stated to the employee, "I'm going to take your resources", and then mouthed, "I'm going to kill you." The actor, a male in his 30's, fled prior to police arrival and could not be identified via surveillance cameras.

6/17/2023 8:44 PM (Arrest - Adult)
A caller reported a male party peering into vehicle windows at a West Passaic Street hotel. Responding patrol located the male, a 50-year-old from Hackensack, and found him to be in possession of narcotic paraphernalia, namely a crack/cocaine pipe. The male was charged and released, and warned of the penalties for vehicle burglaries.

6/19/2023 1:51 AM (Breach of Peace)
911 caller reporting a dispute among household members on Central Avenue. Patrol located both parties, determined a verbal dispute occurred and the male agreed to sleep elsewhere for the night.

6/19/2023 1:01 PM (Arrest - Adult)
A patrol Sergeant located a suspicious occupied vehicle at an area hotel. The occupant, a 34-year-old male from Kingston, PA, possessed a $2,000 warrant out of the Palisades Parkway Police. The male was taken into custody where he posted bail and was released.

6/20/2023 9:18 PM (Burglary)
A resident reported that a past household member broke into his home and slept in the living room. The burglar was confronted and left the area. The homeowner waited 2 days before calling police. Detectives are working with the complainant as the actor is known to the victim.

In addition, (18) suspicious persons/vehicles were vetted and (93) motor vehicle stops were conducted in a 14-day span.


A charge is not a conviction. All persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges can be amended or dismissed.
