3/7/2023 6:54 AM, (Odor of Gas)
Patrol, along with the Fire Department, were dispatched to a Grove Avenue residence for the odor of natural gas. Responding firefighters determined the smell arose from a faulty sump pump.

3/7/2023 3:06 PM, (Breach of Peace)
Patrol was summoned to a A-Harvey residence for a dispute among a home health aid and a party claiming to have power of attorney. The female caller stated that the health aid barricaded the door and refused to allow the complainant to have access. An on-scene investigation revealed the (non-relative) power of attorney was revoked and the female caller no longer had access to the patient or his residence. All parties were advised of these findings.

3/8/2023 4:24 PM, (Found Property)
A resident turned in a rose gold I-phone found on Chestnut Street near Carlock Field. The phone has a damaged front screen and a unique smiley face emoji backlit screen. Anyone believing this is their property should report to the police desk.

3/10/2023 3:01 PM, (Ordinance Violation)
A South Drive resident reported 2 males soliciting for an energy company. Patrol located the individuals, found them to be non-permitted solicitors, and issued summonses for the violation. All solicitors must be permitted by the Police, please ask to view solicitors' permits from anyone visiting door to door.

3/11/2023 7:50 AM, (Customer Dispute)
A security officer reported an unruly customer at a Route 17 dispensary. The customer did not want to wait until 9 AM to purchase his product. He was advised of the proper business hours.

3/11/2023 10:38 PM, (Animal Complaint)
A party on St. Ann Place reported losing the dog he was tasked with dog sitting for. Patrol was dispatched to assist in the search. A report on the" Ring Neighbors" app helped to locate the dog near Route 17. The dog sitters' current status as a sitter is unknown.

3/13/2023 7:46 AM, (Commitment)
Patrol was dispatched to Berdan Street for a report of a party that fell on the sidewalk. The 44-year-old male resident was found to have fallen due to alcohol intoxication. He was committed to a local hospital and forced to miss his morning shift at a local supermarket.

In addition, (3) suspicious persons/vehicles were vetted and (50) motor vehicle stops were conducted in a 7-day span.


A charge is not a conviction. All persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges can be amended or dismissed.
