1/11/2023 4:35 PM, (Suspicious Person)
Patrol received a report of a person acting erratically in the parking lot of a Route 17 North business. The subject, a 54-year-old male, indicated he may be a danger to himself as he made motions towards the busy highway. He was committed to undergo an evaluation at a local hospital.

1/11/2023 9:18 PM, (Suspicious Occurrence)
A resident of Forest Place reported speaking with two unknown males on her doorbell camera. The men exited an Acura sedan without visible license plates, and appeared to have credentials hanging from their necks. No undercover police were reported to be in the area, nor did any crimes occur. Patrol will continue to make extra checks.

1/12/2023 3:44 AM, (Suspicious Occurrence)
A resident of Bennett Avenue reported approaching his vehicle on his way to work and observing two unknown males in his neighbor's driveway. The resident yelled at the trespassing males and they fled on foot to an awaiting Dodge Charger. The actors, likely in the area to commit vehicle burglaries and thefts, fled prior to police arrival. Police warns residents to call police immediately rather than confronting suspicious parties.

1/13/2023 11:14 AM, (Neighbor Dispute)
A resident of Thiem Avenue responded to headquarters to report ongoing harassment by a neighbor. The resident reported neighborly disputes over time, and in this case, believes her neighbor spat on the windshield of her vehicle. No video evidence was provided on the date of the report.

1/13/2023 10:29 PM, (Annoying Phone Calls)
A patient from a Parkway medical facility dialed 911 to report the heat was too high in his room. Dispatch contacted the nursing station whom were able to assist the patient and also advised that 911 was for emergencies only.

1/14/2023 7:01 AM, (Welfare Check)
A passing motorist reported an elderly female laying in the roadway on West Oldis Street. Patrol located the female, who was reported to be lost. Family members were located on the same street and escorted the party to her home. Medical attention was refused.

1/14/2023 2:40 PM, (Suspicious Vehicle)
A caller from Becker Avenue reported suspicious vehicle in the area with no license plates. The vehicle and its occupants were located on Becker Avenue. The vehicle was found to be unregistered and the occupants were soliciting for a solar company without Township issued permits. One of the solicitors, a 38-year-old male from Lodi was found to have a $1,000 warrant issued by the Sheriff's Department. The individuals were issued summonses for soliciting without a permit and operating an unregistered vehicle. A new court date was issued for the wanted party.

1/14/2023 5:49 PM, (Breach of Peace)
A resident of Thiem Avenue reported he neighbor shouted obscenities to him while he stood on a front porch. The obscenities could not be printed in the blotter. The complainant was advised how to sign civilian complaints.

1/15/2023 2:14 AM, (Custody Dispute)
Officers were dispatched to a Rochelle Avenue residence for a disagreement between parents over visitation hours. The children were ill and unable to leave the residence. Officers were able to negotiate a compromise.

1/16/2023 6:06 PM, (Customer Dispute)
Patrol was dispatched to an Essex Street convenience store for an argument between a clerk and a customer. The customer was angry because he wanted to heat up a slice of pizza and the oven was out of order. The customer fled with a cold slice of pizza after hearing the clerk call police


A charge is not a conviction. All persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges can be amended or dismissed.
