Teaneck Man Charged with Sex Offenses

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 37-year-old HECTOR R. ESTRADA ROCA of Teaneck, NJ on charges of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the Cliffside Park Police Department, under the direction of Chief Yakup Zoklu.

On Friday, March 7, 2025, the Teaneck Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding an alleged sexual assault of a child that occurred in the past. An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Cliffside Park Police Department revealed that HECTOR R. ESTRADA ROCA sexually assaulted and endangered a child younger than thirteen in Cliffside Park, NJ on multiple occasions between 2021 through 2023.

As a result of the investigation, on Friday, March 7, 2025, HECTOR R. ESTRADA ROCA was arrested in Paramus, NJ and charged with three counts of second-degree sexual assault, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2b; and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(1). ESTRADA ROCA was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, NJ.

Prosecutor Musella states that the charges are merely accusations, and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. He would like to thank the Cliffside Police Department and the Teaneck Police Department for their assistance in this investigation.
