Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Patrick Murray announce that at approximately 7:52 p.m. on March 9, 2025, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Ellison Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard. Police located a 14-year-old victim, suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. Police were able to locate a potential crime scene in the area.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
