
1. On March 10th, 2025, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to 6807-6819 John F. Kennedy Boulevard East after receiving reports of individuals possibly trespassing inside of the property. Once they arrived on the scene, officers discovered one of the rear doors open. While clearing the inside of the property, officers located 36-year-old Joseph M. Costabile of Ridgewood, NJ, in one of the rooms. Mr. Costabile was placed under arrest for criminal trespass [2C:18-3A] and transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Costabile was issued his complaint summons and then released from police custody.
2. On March 11th, 2025, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division conducted a pre-planned methodical search of 6807-6819 John F. Kennedy Boulevard East after making numerous arrests for trespassers on the property. During their search of the property, officers located and arrested 36-year-old Joseph M. Costabile of Ridgewood, NJ, who was inside of the property for a second time. Mr. Costabile was transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing, where he was charged with criminal trespass [2C:18-3A]. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Costabile was issued his complaint summons and released from police custody.
3. On March 12th, 2025, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the area of 70th Street and Park Avenue after receiving a report of an unwanted individual on private property. During their on-scene investigation, officers located 36-year-old Joseph M. Costabile of Ridgewood, NJ, who was not allowed to be present at the request of the property owner. Mr. Costabile was placed under arrest for defiant trespass [2C:18-3A] and transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Costabile was issued his complaint summons and released from police custody.
4. On March 13th, 2025, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the area of 70th Street and Park Avenue after receiving a report of an unwanted individual on private property. During their on-scene investigation, officers again located 36-year-old Joseph M. Costabile of Ridgewood, NJ, on private property. Mr. Costabile was arrested for defiant trespass [2C:18-3A] and transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. As this marked his fourth arrest in a four-day period for criminal/defiant trespass, Mr. Costabile was issued his complaint warrant and lodged in the Hudson County Correctional Center.
5. On March 14th, 2025, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to 6807-6819 John F. Kennedy Boulevard East after receiving a call about a trespasser at that location. During their on-scene investigation, officers located and arrested 52-year-old Luis E. Marrero of Guttenberg, NJ, for criminal trespass [2C:18-3A]. Officers also discovered that Mr. Marrero had two active warrants for his arrest, issued by the Cliffside Park Municipal Court. Mr. Marrero was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Marrero was issued his complaint summons and then released on his own recognizance, pending his next court appearances with the Guttenberg and Cliffside Park Municipal Courts.
6. On March 14th, 2025, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a residence on 71st Street after receiving a report of a theft. During their on-scene investigation, officers arrested 27-year-old Juan A. Calle-Alvarado of Guttenberg, NJ, for theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Calle-Alvarado was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Calle-Alvarado was issued his complaint summons and released from police custody.
