Secaucus Police Blotter: March 24, 2025 to March 30, 2025

On 03/24/2025 at 11:59 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old male, Marquise Hallman of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $5,000.00 and 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Hallman was also charged with Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(3)(A)] and Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A]. The police also arrested a 61-year-old male, Richard Hallman of Jersey City, NJ for Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A]. Mr. Richard Hallman was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. Mr. Marquise Hallman was issued his complaint summons and 1 motor vehicle summons. Mr. Marquise Hallman was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office.

On 03/24/2025 at 1:46 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division, the police arrested a 29-year-old male of Secaucus, NJ for Aggravated Sexual Contact [2C:14-3A] and Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(1)]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 03/24/2025 at 5:30 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a motor vehicle theft that occurred on Brianna Way on 10/12/2023, the police arrested an 18-year-old male, Hakeem Grant of Jersey City, NJ along with a 19-year-old male, Ethan Baez of Jersey City, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. Both Mr. Grant and Mr. Baez were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On 03/26/2025 at 9:23 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old male, Jordano Ibrahim of Bayonne, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bayonne, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 with a 10% option. Ibrahim was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 03/26/2025 at 11:32 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Sam’s Club located at 300 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 48-year-old male, Sorin Marcu of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $600.00. Marcu was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a future court date and was released from police custody.

On 03/26/2025 at 11:27 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department in relation to an incident of Forgery that occurred at Walmart on 02/26/2025 where the actor attempted to use counterfeit currency for a purchase, the police responded to Lambertville, NJ and arrested a 44-year-old male, Clifton Owens of Trenton, NJ for Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)] and Conspiracy to commit Forgery [2C:5-2A(1)]. Owens was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Vorhees, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Mr. Owens was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 03/27/2025 at 2:08 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Bagel Buffet located at 127 Plaza Centre Road on a report of a possible fight in progress. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25-year-old female, Taylor Garretson of Hillside, NJ for Simple Assault [2C:12-1A(1)]. Garretson was issued her complaint summons along with 1 motor vehicle parking summons and was released from police custody.

On 03/30/2025 at 7:12 AM, Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle stopped in the area of Paterson Plank Road ramp and the Route 3 West service Road with a flat tire. The operator of the motor vehicle also appeared to be asleep in the driver’s seat of the motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24-year-old male, Michael Ramirez of Union City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Ramirez was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.


These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
