Secaucus Police Blotter 05/22/2023 - 05/28/2023

On 05/22/2023 at 7:20 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male, Ohamy Rosario-Frias of North Bergen, NJ for Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A] and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)]. Rosario-Frias was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On 05/22/2023 at 4:08 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30-year-old male, Nicholas Garcia-Morales of Rutherford, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Ramsey, NJ in the amount of $750.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Brick, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Both Ramsey and Brick did release Mr. Garcia-Morales on his own recognizance pending future court dates. Garcia-Morales was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On 05/25/2023 at 8:17 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23-year-old male, Tyshawn Goodwin of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail. Officers from the Jersey City Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Goodwin for transport back to their agency. Goodwin was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of the Jersey City Police Department.

On 05/25/2023 at 2:51 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Millcreek Drive and Lighting Way on a report of a hit and run motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police responded to the 300 block of Julianne Terrace and arrested a 28-year-old female, Catherine Nunez of the Bronx, NY for Filing a False Report [2C:28-4B(1)]. Nunez was issued her complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and she was released from police custody.

On 05/28/2023 at 2:29 AM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Hilton Garden Inn located at 875 Paterson Plank Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 53-year-old female, Carla Carter of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Wayne, NJ in the amount of $750.00 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Pompton Lakes, NJ in the amount of $750.00 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hawthorne, NJ in the amount of $500.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hawthorne, NJ in the amount of $500.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Wayne, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Haledon, NJ in the amount of $171.80. Carter was able to post bail for the warrants issued out of Wayne, NJ and Pompton Lakes, NJ that were both for $750.00 with a 10% option. Ms. Carter was released on her own recognizance in regards to the remaining outstanding warrants pending future court dates and she was released from police custody.
