Secaucus Police Blotter 05/29/2023 - 06/04/2023

On 05/30/2023 at 9:17 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Meadowlands Exposition Center located at 355 Plaza Drive on a report of an injured male. During the investigation, the police arrested a 63-year-old male, Raymond Watkins of Camden, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Haddon Heights, NJ in the amount of $1,404.00, 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Pine Hill, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Camden, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Watkins was released on his own recognizance in regards to all the outstanding warrants pending future court dates and Mr. Watkins was subsequently released from police custody.

On 05/30/2023 at 5:37 PM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of Grace Avenue and Paterson Plank Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 39-year-old male, Benjamin King of Brooklyn, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Ridgefield, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 with a 10% option. Mr. King was able to post bail for the involved warrant and he was released from police custody.

On 05/31/2023 at 4:21 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the incident, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old female, Alize Cruz of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] and Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A]. The police also arrested an 18-year-old female, Mikaela Feliciano-Faria of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)], Possession of a Fraudulent Government Document [2C:21-2.1C], Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A] and Possession of CDS believed to be Crack Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Both Ms. Cruz and Ms. Feliciano-Faria were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On 06/01/2023 at 3:33 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 42-year-old male, Ricky Carter of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Kenilworth, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Officers from the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take custody of Mr. Carter. Mr. Carter was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office.

On 06/01/2023 at 4:56 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Passaic County Jail to take into custody a 36-year-old male, Tyshan Watson of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Linden, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 with a 10 % option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Watson was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 06/04/2023 at 2:56 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Rodeway Inn located at 155 Route 3 East on a report of a verbal dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23-year-old male, Hunter Walker of Bassett, VA for Unlawful Possession of Hollow Point Ammunition [2C:39-3F(1)]. Mr. Walker was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
