On 06/20/2023 at 4:17 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 39-year-old male, Randy Gallman of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Bergen County Sheriff’s office with no bail. Officers from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Gallman for transport back to their agency.
On 06/20/2023 at 7:50 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 41-year-old male, Sasidhar Kavutha of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)]. Mr. Kavutha was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 06/21/2023 at 11:18 PM, Secaucus Police arrested a 47-year-old male, James Michaud of Secaucus, NJ at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Plainsboro, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. The Plainsboro Police Department did release Mr. Michaud on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.
On 06/21/2023 at 11:30 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division in relation to an incident of criminal sexual contact that occurred on 06/17/2023, the police arrested a 68-year-old male, Roberto Ormeno of North Bergen, NJ for Criminal Sexual Contact [2C:14-3B] and Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(1)]. Mr. Ormeno was taken into custody at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. Mr. Ormeno was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 06/21/2023 at 11:09 AM, Secaucus Police responded to 1 Harmon Meadow Boulevard on a report that there was an individual at that location who had an outstanding warrant. During the investigation, the police arrested a 40-year-old male, Tyquan Cutler of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued by the Jersey City Police Department in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Cutler was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be MDMA [2C:35-10A(1)]. The Jersey City Police Department did release Mr. Cutler on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Cutler was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 06/21/2023 at 5:31 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 50-year-old male, Reynaldo Roman of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the New Haven, Connecticut Police Department with no bail. Mr. Roman was also charged with Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. Mr. Roman was issued his complaint warrant along with 1 motor vehicle summons and he was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 06/23/2023 at 1:10 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male, Dennis Vargas of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Atlantic City, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Essex Fells, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Vargas was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued 6 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On 06/24/2023 at 5:14 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Ridgefield Park Police Department to take into custody a 29-year-old female, Candace Jace of Ridgefield Park, NJ for Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be GHB [2C:35-5.2A], Possession of CDS believed to be Xanax [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be GHB [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Ms. Jace was charged in relation to an incident that occurred at the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway on 06/09/2023. Ms. Jace was issued her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 06/25/2023 at 9:30 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division in relation to an incident reported to the police on 04/22/2023 where an individual attempted to gain entry into a residence on the 700 block of County Avenue, the police arrested a 30-year-old male, Jason Rosario of Belleville, NJ for Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3C] and Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)]. Mr. Rosario was also charged with Stalking [2C:12-10D] in relation to a similar incident that occurred on 04/29/2023. Mr. Rosario was taken into custody at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. Mr. Rosario was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 06/25/2023 at 12:07 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 63-year-old male, Kevin Chambers of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Chambers was also charged with Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3B]. Mr. Chambers was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
