Motor Vehicle Crime
February 21, 2023 (Bloomfield Avenue): The complainant reported that he parked his 2013 BMW 328 in front of Gong Cha restaurant and entered the establishment to pick up his order. When he returned the vehicle was no longer there. The engine was left idling however he had the keys with him. It was recovered on February 23, 2023 in Newark.

February 23, 2023 (Christopher Street): The complainant reported that her 2022 Cadillac Escalade was entered during the morning hours. A white tote bag containing the following items was stolen: a gray fanny pack, Kate Spade Wallet, approximately $450.00 in cash, NJ Drivers License, various credit cards, a MacBook Air color pink.

February 25, 2023 (Pine Street): The resident reported that her 2017 Volkswagen Jetta was stolen from in front of her apartment during the overnight hours. She reported that the vehicle was locked and she was in possession of her keys.

Suspicious Incident
February 27, 2023 (Wildwood Avenue): The resident reported that she observed an unknown male in her backyard possibly urinating. When he observed that he was being watched, he fled south on North Fullerton Avenue. He was described as a white male, wearing a black beanie hat, black and blue jacket, black pants, and white/black sneakers.

February 27, 2023 (North Fullerton Avenue): A concerned parent reported that she observed an unknown school bus at North Fullerton and Claremont Avenue attempting to pick up children at the bus stop. The bus was described as a small yellow school bus that was empty. The parent advised the children not to get on the bus as it was not their bus. The driver, a black male with a large build, apologized and said it was his first day and that he did not know the route or the kids. The bus then left the area east on Claremont Avenue. This incident is currently under investigation.
